80kw pellet boiler with associated buffer tank and controls – this was linked to the existing heating system. The biomass equipment is housed in a purpose built modular plant room/fuel store which is constructed and tested on our premises before being commissioned on site.
CHP Mechanical Services was awarded the prestigious contract to design and install a biomass heating system for Newforge House (a sixth generation owned Georgian house which has been sympathetically converted to a luxurious guest house).
From the date of order, the system was supplied, installed, commissioned and set to work within 8 weeks. The client was extremely impressed with the quality of the system, workmanship and our willingness to engage with other contractors on site to achieve the best for our client.
“We’ve had the system in for around a year now and we’re very happy with it,” he said. “The old boiler we had was around 10 years old and it was time for a change. I looked into the pellet system and decided to go with that but there were a lot of options.
“I chose CHP Mechanical Services Ltd, however, because they came across as a very good, professional outfit with an excellent back-up service. They’re experienced people who knew what they were doing.” Mr Mathers added: “In our line of business, you need to be able to rely on 3-4 hours of hot water and heat at any given time, and CHP have installed an excellent, reliable system guarantees that.”
